Beeler was founded on work ethic, integrity, and the belief that service matters.
In the late 1940s, while working for Addressograph-Multigraph, Ray Beeler saw a need for refurbished office equipment. From the basement in his Brainerd home, he began repairing and reselling machines with care and precision. In 1954, he and his wife, Elizabeth, formally founded Beeler Impression, laying the foundation for what would become a trusted name in office technology across Chattanooga and the tri-state region.
Ray didn’t just start the company; he built it every single day. For more than 70 years, and well into his nineties, he worked faithfully, leading his famous all-hands meeting at 7:00 AM every single day. That consistency, humility, and commitment to customers shaped the culture that still defines Beeler today.
From becoming one of the first Gestetner (now RICOH) dealers in the United States to expanding into modern copiers, printers, ID systems, and workflow, document management and print solutions, Beeler has grown alongside the organizations we serve. Schools. Churches. Healthcare providers. Law offices. Local businesses.
Technology has changed, but our approach to service has not.
We believe in long-term relationships.
We believe in recommending what’s right, not what’s most expensive.
We believe service should be dependable, local, and personal.
More than seven decades later, Beeler remains rooted in the same values it was built on: steady leadership, loyal team members, and a deep appreciation for the customers who trust us. Today, Ray Beeler’s grandson, Dodd Hartness, carries that vision forward, building on a legacy of service while leading Beeler into its next chapter.
Our success has always been tied to the people we serve. And we’re grateful for every relationship that continues to grow.
